From April 12th to 14th, the "2011 China Foundry Parts Exhibition and the 8th China International Nonferrous and Special Casting Exhibition" hosted by China Foundry Association will land in Nanjing International Expo Center. The exhibition has been held in first-tier cities such as Beijing and Shanghai in the past, and it will be moved to Nanjing for the first time this year, with an expected exhibition area of nearly 20,000 square meters.
Casting is the foundation of the equipment manufacturing industry. From automobiles, machine tools to aviation, aerospace, and national defense, castings are inseparable. Last year, the output value of the foundry industry in Jiangsu Province ranked second in the country, and it has a number of leading foundry enterprises such as Panda, Puzhen Vehicle, and Jincheng. The organizer said that Nanjing was chosen as the location for this exhibition because of its advantages in location, industry, and policies. During the exhibition, a batch of fine ferrous and non-ferrous metal castings, casting parts, and casting deep-processing equipment representing the top technology in China will appear. Hundreds of professional buyers, including Siemens, Schneider, and Westinghouse, will be present to purchase. The exhibition will also hold an art casting exhibition at the same time, displaying antique bronzes and Buddhist cultural sculptures made by domestic masters.
